Epic Games Store

Lead a rotating team of engineers over a one year engagement to ideate, plan and build critical features to accommodate an explosive period of growth after the initial launch of the Epic Games Store.

Highlights

  • Worked directly with Epic’s in-house design, engineering and QA teams to scale the store from 12 to over 200 games, 100 million users and $680 million in revenue in the first year.
  • Hands-on development of key features and initiatives including a new modular product detail page, home page modules, search, explore, DLC management, free games and the first ever Epic Mega Sale.
  • Built on top of a custom, fully responsive, React based platform for the desktop/mobile web apps as well as the desktop launcher app.
  • Supports 15 different languages
